Inspired Art
“A teacher’s job is to take a bunch of live wires and see that they are well-grounded.” ~Darwin D. Martin
“Inspired Art” is a collection of works inspired by online educators. First, in August 2018, I picked up my brushes and began my creative journey. It felt magical from the very start.
Next, I sought out more professional instruction and watched hours of videos. Three online educators most greatly influenced my art journey. Initially, Angela Anderson’s work gave me skills with the brushes that I did not learn in my youth. Her attention to detail and shading highly influenced my style. Then, I found Feliks Kaparchuk. He taught me specific blending techniques. He also helped me loosen up and flow with creative energy. And finally, JM Lisondra’s pieces moved me to paint with my heart. These three individuals methods contribute to every painting I produce.
Foremost, I feel much gratitude for my teachers. I record as many of my own art sessions as possible to share with and inspire others. You can find the places I share my videos in the Links Tree on the bottom of my Contact page.
In summary, all of the “Inspired Art” pieces are hand-painted by me as described, with the original compositions credited to perspective instructors.
