Turkish Teapot and Tangerines

$420.00

11X14 on Fredrix canvas board with Golden hard-bodied archival paints. Inspired by Angela Anderson’s work, this level of difficulty was an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10. The upper-tier piece was a real joy accomplished! These thinner canvas board paintings are easy to frame by removing the glass. It comes in a basic brown frame. A warm drink on a cool morning hits the spot. PRINTS NOT AVAILABLE

Angela Anderson of Thankful Art is a truly dedicated educator. She paints nearly every day for her students. She has mad skills and talents for realism. Her detailed instructions convey the most difficult techniques in a unique manner that makes learning fun. I am thankful for her continual support and encouragement.

First, under Angela’s tutorage, I learned much about the varied products. I also learned the care of paints and supplies. Second, she teaches on smaller canvases that allow improved focus. Finally, her subject matter always has a lesson in it. In summary, her dedication and expertise make learning interesting.

Turkish Teapot and Tangerines is a still life that showcases the attention to detail in producing a realistic piece. Believe it or not, the Turkish teapot was the easy part. The shadows, shading, and texture of the tangerines were the most challenging. Fresh tangerines are a sweet and tangy staple in the winter months.
