Abstracts & Pours

Abstracts & pours are a fun distraction from my more detailed painting. There are so many creative things to do with paint and a canvas. These styles give me the opportunity to totally relax with the paints and let the creativeness occur organically. Plus, these art forms are great for home décor when looking to add a splash of color.

In addition to providing color for a room, “Abstracts & Pours” can set the mood.

I cover most pours in art resin to provide more durability and to make them glisten in the light. But sometimes that’s not necessary. A variety of techniques are employed and all of them are messy fun.
