My plan was to paint a beach cottage on a sunny day. Once I was ready to paint the details, it occurred to me that island neighborhoods, like those anywhere, have their fair share of stray cats. After painting, the kitty stole the plan and became the focus of the title. Neighborhood strays are really cool tourists.
