Many artists paint seascapes, and Eva Volf captured my heart with her oils. Here, with her permission, I worked to capture the essence of “Awakening” in acrylics. Early morning beach walks bring warmth and light with the rising sun burning off the cool night’s fog. The bright sun over the ocean pierces dark, rolling waves, and casts beams along the shore.
