You’re bound to run into tidal pools on a serene walk along the edge of any bay at low tide. Reflective, shallow puddles capture the passing clouds. Close inspection reveals many small creatures. These ideal conditions promote the life of crabs, mollusks, snails, sea stars, and more. Unless you disturb the still waters, you won’t be aware of the creatures. On such a contemplative visit the setting sun, who would want to do that?
