Cholla Wood is the inner skeleton of a specific type of cacti plant. You can find it in the deserts of North and South America, as well as the West Indies. When the plant dies, the green outer layer slowly breaks down. The brown wood reveals over time. Cholla is hardwood and very durable, but porous. This makes it an excellent candidate for creative hybrid pen blanks.
